WHERE AND WHEN
The Prince William County Tea Party Patriots (PWCTPP) will hold a Tax Day Tea Party Rally from Noon to 2:00 PM on April 15, 2010. Please join us at the McCoart Administrative Center, 1 County Complex Court, Woodbridge, VA 22192.
WHY WE ARE DOING THIS
We hold these tea parties with the hope that our elected officials will understand that we cannot continue to spend ourselves out of debt. We will not leave a legacy of debt for our children and grandchildren. Our volunteer base is growing daily as citizens have a voice and a renewed sense of hope. THE ISSUES
Are you fed up with a Congress and a President who:
- vote for a $700 billion dollar tax and spending bill without reading them?
- are spending trillions of borrowed dollars, leaving a debt our great-grandchildren will be paying?
- consistently give special interest groups billions of dollars in earmarks to help get themselves re-elected?
- reduced funds for our national security?
- have grown our 2010 budget deficit to $1.5 trillion, and our cumulative deficit to nearly $10 trillion over the next ten years?
- run up trillions of dollars of debt and then sell that debt to countries such as China?
- want government controlled health care?
- refuse to stop the flow of millions of illegal immigrants into our country the result in our state budget being burdened with over a billion dollars for services you will be paying for?
- want to impose a carbon tax on your electricity, gas and home heating fuels?
- hold you in utter contempt and refuse to listen to your concerns regarding this out of control spending and taxing?
